Play Padel at Barnsgrove
Padel tennis is now part of the Barnsgrove experience. Members and guests can enjoy our two brand-new indoor padel courts, set within a beautifully converted barn in the heart of Hampshire. Whether playing a casual match, joining our Smash Social events or partaking in the Palace Padel League, players of all abilities can enjoy this fast-paced and highly addictive sport. For those looking to build confidence and skills, the Improver Course is available. Connect, compete, and enjoy padel in an exclusive countryside setting.
Smash Socials
Smash Socials takes place every three weeks, on either Friday or Saturday from 4–6pm on the indoor padel courts. This relaxed padel tennis evening invites members to play friendly rounds before heading into the clubhouse for drinks and Barnsgrove classics, such as the now-iconic Barnsgrove Smash Burgers. Designed to bring the Barnsgrove community together, Smash Social welcomes players of all levels, along with guests and families. It’s the perfect way to enjoy padel on a Saturday afternoon in true Barnsgrove style. Teen socials run across bank, half term and school holidays.
Padel Coaching
Barnsgrove currently offers lunchtime padel clinics on a Monday, for members and non-members alike to join. We also offer a kids padel course, starting in the new year. Throughout the year, additional padel coaching sessions will be made available. Members can also arrange private tuition with our specialist padel coaches by contacting the concierge or membership team directly.
Padel Racket Hire and Purchase
To make every match seamless, members and guests can hire or purchase premium padel rackets at the clubhouse reception. With a curated selection from No Strings Padel and Pro Padel, Barnsgrove ensures that every visit to the padel tennis court is well equipped. Whether playing regularly or trying indoor padel for the first time, the equipment and support needed are ready and waiting. Balls and grips are also available to purchase.
