 FRONT OF HOUSE TEAM LEADER
- Operational Management:
- Supervise the daily operations of the club, including Palmers, Orchards, reception, and all event areas.
- Ensure smooth coordination between departments (front-of-house, kitchen, cleaners, etc.).
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring all club areas are prepared and presentable.

Maintain and enforce club policies, standards, and health & safety regulations.

Work collaboratively with the Founder to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
- Staff Supervision:

Lead, motivate, and manage staff to deliver outstanding member service.

Inspire the team through a positive, hands-on approach and a commitment to excellence in hospitality.
- Assign duties and shifts, ensuring appropriate staff coverage at all times.
- Provide on-the-job training and support to ensure staff are performing to high standards.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.

- Member Relations:
- Foster positive relationships with club members, addressing any concerns or special requests.
- Ensure that all members and guests are greeted warmly and attended to promptly.
- Respond to member complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate with the Club Manager on member feedback and suggestions for service improvements.
- Event Management:

Coordinate and oversee a range of Clubhouse events, ensuring every detail is executed to a high standard.

Assist in the planning and execution of private events, dinners, and functions.
- Work closely with the Membership & Events Manager to ensure all member events run smoothly.
- Supervise set-up and break-down of events, ensuring quality control and adherence to timelines.

WAITERING STAFF

Barnsgrove Clubhouse is seeking warm, attentive and detail‑driven Waitering Staff to join our Front of House team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hospitality environment, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service across our daily Clubhouse offering and busy calendar of member events.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
- Provide friendly, efficient and professional service to members and guests at all times.
- Take orders accurately, serve food and beverages promptly, and ensure tables are cleared and reset to Barnsgrove standards.
- Maintain a strong presence on the floor, anticipating guest needs and ensuring every visit feels personal and memorable.
Barista & Bar Service
- Prepare and serve high‑quality barista coffees, teas and hot drinks.
- Confidently serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, following responsible service guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and coffee station.
Operational Support
- Assist with daily set‑up and close‑down of Palmers, Orchards and Clubhouse service areas.
- Support the Front of House team during busy periods, including events, private bookings and weekend service.
- Ensure all areas remain clean, tidy and presentable throughout the day.
Teamwork & Communication
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Front of House, Kitchen and Events.
- Communicate clearly and positively to ensure smooth service flow.
- Uphold Barnsgrove’s hospitality standards and contribute to a welcoming, community‑focused environment.
About You
- Previous barista, bar or waitering experience is highly desirable.
- Friendly, outgoing and confident when interacting with members and guests.

KITCHEN PORTER

Barnsgrove Clubhouse is looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to support our busy kitchen team. This is a vital role that keeps the kitchen running smoothly, ensuring our chefs and Front of House team can deliver exceptional food and service to members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
Kitchen Support
- Carry out daily pot wash, ensuring all crockery, cutlery, utensils and kitchen equipment are cleaned efficiently and returned to the correct stations.
- Assist with basic food preparation under the guidance of the kitchen team.
- Maintain cleanliness across all kitchen areas, including surfaces, floors, storage and waste disposal.
Operational Duties
- Ensure cleaning schedules are followed and hygiene standards are consistently met.
- Support the kitchen during busy service periods, helping with clearing, organising and restocking.
- Work closely with Front of House to ensure smooth communication and timely service.
Health & Safety
- Follow all food hygiene, safety and sanitation procedures.
- Report any maintenance or equipment issues promptly.

Barnsgrove Clubhouse is seeking a confident and capable Saturday Clubhouse Supervisor to oversee weekend operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys leading a small team, delivering excellent hospitality, and ensuring the Clubhouse runs smoothly during one of our busiest days of the week.
Key Responsibilities
Front of House Leadership
- Oversee all Saturday Clubhouse operations, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for members and guests.
- Supervise Front of House staff, providing direction, support and maintaining high service standards.

Food & Beverage Service
