Please join us for a talk by Karen Sanders from The HR Dept. – ‘Planning Your People Post Budget’

It can seem overwhelming planning your people at the best of times, but post this current budget, more and more small businesses are finding it even more overwhelming.  In this talk we will walk you through how to sift through the media dialogue and focus on what is ACTUALLY happening now and immediately, what you need to plan for and what is on the horizon in the future.  How much are the changes in the budget going to cost you as an employer, what can you do about it and what should you do, if you don’t think you can afford all of the changes?  We can explore what you can and should plan for with your people NOW and to see you through any challenging times to set you up for survival, stability or growth and prosperity.

Bio on Karen Sanders FCIPD

Karen is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and is a small business owner herself, having been running her business The HR Dept for 14 years.  Karen and her team provide outsourced HR services and recruitment to small and medium sized businesses who don’t have their own in-house HR function and do everything an inhouse corporate HR team can do across a broad cross section of industries. Prior to setting up her business Karen was a Global HR Director for an aerospace business leading an international team and is passionate about supporting leaders.  In her spare time, Karen is a busy Mum of two teenagers and is a Governor of a local Senior school.
